Free online photo editor Picnik integrates with Picasa
Google has taken Picnik. The small company Picnik offers a free online photo editing program that is operated via the browser. Picnik users need to install any software. In the basic versions of Picnik is free. Google integrates Picasa Picnik in its service.
Picnik allows a Flash-based image processing in the browser functions such as cutting, turning, special effects. The basic functions are completely free, more than 2 million people per month use Picnik. There is a connection to Web 2.0 services like Flickr, Facebook and PhotoWorks.
